Mom and Pete marched in the Ashburn Independence Day parade. Actually, mom marched and Pete went on his scooter (see picture ---> ). Even Pete's hands were patriotic, after all that hot riding and holding on to his red, white, and blue streamers.
After the parade we all met at the Pavillion for the scheduled "family activities" (translation: apparently this means paying $2 each for 15 minutes on 2 of those blow-up slides and a slip-n-slide).
