Spraying Bricks

Dad dropped Pete off at school early today so he could attend Mrs. Littlefield’s study session for the Math test (limits). The school has been under construction all year on a major renovation project. As they were driving in front of the school, one of the crew was power washing the brick façade. Pete said “There are those guys spraying the school again. My Biology class is over on that side of the building, and I can tell you the only thing those guys do all day long is spray those bricks.” It was an interesting observation. It also had Dad wondering if Pete’s Biology teacher at that same moment was telling her family: “This one student in my class; I can tell you the only thing he does all day long is stare out the window.”

Dinner was a bit disjointed this evening. Pete went to Thai Ashburn with Alexandra. Mom and Dad went to Cava Grill for Spirit Night after an evening hike. And Sam had Wendy’s. Pete wrote a work in the spirit of Chaucer for his English class.
