Pete was driving and playing some good tunes from The Book of Mormon. Dad was tapping his feet on the floor of the passenger side of Mom’s car. Mom generally leaves things in her car, so there is usually a random assortment of stuff in there. Dad noticed an odd cracking sound under his feet. It was a receipt from Hair Cuttery. It’s not clear why Mom was keeping this in her car, but maybe she was planning to return the hair cut if Pete decided that he didn’t like it.
