One advantage of Pete's dreadfully long hair is that it gives him a number of options for Crazy Hair Day at school.
We did not have things such as Crazy Hair Day when I went to school. However, looking back at some of my pictures, I think we just treated every day as if it were.

Oh, good, I'm glad we weren't the only ones who had a kid with long hair. Joey has decided that he wants to grow his for "Locks of Love". While I admire his wanting to help others, I'm a little afraid of what's going to happen when it gets to the 2" mark, never mind the 10" one.
