One of the advantages of taking the kids to the National Zoo during the greatest week of rain in recent history is that you get lots of attention from the zookeepers.
We got so much rain over the weekend, the zoo was actually closed for the next 2 days after we were there.

I never thought about going to the zoo on a rainy day. That sounds like a great idea though
very cool photos from your zoo trip. did you get to see the baby panda? you know how much I had wanted to see the baby- doubt I will so was hoping you got to. ?
