Pete decided to celebrate the New Year this year by staying up until midnight. Above he is reading in his new reading chair, which is a $10 chair from a yard sale plus an Eagles blanket. No one knows exactly what he did to celebrate the New Year, since everyone else was asleep.

we all made it to midnight here. we stayed in as we were all still a bit sick. ;-) maybe next year we'll make it to the fireworks and 1st night festivities.
Joey also made it to midnight - unfortunately he didn't use his time as constructively as Pete. His babysitter let him play on the Wii for 3 1/2 hours! Ugh!

You went to sleep without seeing Dick Clark? He still looks pretty young and is talking better each year (after his stroke). They had Carrie Underwood singing. I would have rather heard Guy Lombardo.
what about Fergie? and mylie cyrus? they were pretty good at the dick clark new years celebration.
