There is a good reason that the shower curtain is closed in the above picture. It is the first time it has been closed in a long time.

Answer: Pete and Sam are taking a bath. They are playing with squirt guns. They were squirting water all over the bathroom. Rather than take away the guns, dad came up with the idea to close the shower curtain.

I humbly accept this award. Isn't it nice when kids are kids and have "harmless" fun? I guess it's also part of a well balanced life.
